About SAFE
We believe every child deserves the chance to play — regardless of what their family can afford.

Our Mission
"No Child Left On The Sideline."
Sports Are For Everyone (SAFE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing the financial barriers that keep children from participating in organized youth sports. We believe that access to sports should never be determined by a family's bank account. Through direct financial assistance, we cover registration fees, uniforms, and more — so every child gets a fair shot at the game they love.
How SAFE Started
SAFE was founded on the principle that across the country, millions of children are priced out of youth sports every year. Registration fees, equipment costs, and uniform requirements add up fast — and for families already stretched thin, sports often become a luxury they simply can't afford.
SAFE was built to change that. Our mission is to make youth sports accessible to everyone. We want to remove all economic barriers and give every child the opportunity to play a sport they love, build friendship bonds that will last a lifetime, and help lay the building blocks to a successful future in the lessons that youth sports help provide.
What We Stand For
Dignity
We treat every family with respect and compassion. Applying for help should never feel shameful — it should feel supported.
Equity
A child's zip code or household income should never determine whether they get to play. We work to level the field.
Transparency
We publish our financials and hold ourselves accountable to the families and donors who trust us with their resources.
Community
Sports build character, friendships, and belonging. We're not just funding games — we're investing in kids and communities.
Our Team
SAFE is run by a small, passionate team of volunteers and staff who believe deeply in this mission.
